Pamela Anderson turned heads with her “no-makeup” look at Paris Fashion Week and earned praise from her celebrity colleagues.
Actress Scarlett Johansson (38) is thrilled with Pamela Anderson’s (56) appearance at Paris Fashion Week 2023. There, the “Baywatch” star appeared confidently without make-up in the front row and caused a stir.
It is unusual to see a woman in public at such an event without make-up, Johansson said in an interview with Popsugar. She thinks: Pamela Anderson has sent a “strong message” that corresponds to today’s zeitgeist. “It empowers women when they see other women rejecting common beauty norms,” said the “Black Widow” actress.
Jamie Lee Curtis: “Natural beauty revolution has begun”
“I’m overwhelmed,” writes Oscar winner Jamie Lee Curtis (64) on her Instagram account about Anderson’s decision to forego makeup. Pamela Anderson impresses with her courageous and rebellious act. She is making a significant contribution to the revolution in natural beauty, says Curtis happily. In another posting she published a photo of the Canadian-American cult blondeon which Anderson is quoted: “I’m not trying to be the prettiest girl in the room. This feels like freedom and relief”.
The cult blonde revealed in a video interview with the French “Vogue”., that she wanted to focus on clothing at Fashion Week in Paris and therefore actively decided not to wear make-up. In addition, there would have been no team of stylists on site. She took care of her hair and look herself.
Pamela Anderson is considered one of the sex symbols of the 1990s, having always appeared on the red carpet in heavy make-up, teased hair and fake tan.
