Pan lasagna: the delicious vegetarian recipe without an oven for a quick dinner: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

At the start of the week, it’s the return of routine. To make matters worse, Monday is rock’n’roll and often the day struggles to end. As a result, in the evening, we come home tired and lacking the desire to cook. It is therefore necessary to find a simple dish that takes as little time as possible to preparebut while being greedy, because even if you don’t have time to prepare a dish in 10 steps, you shouldn’t neglect deliciousness!

If you’re lacking inspiration, the culinary content creator known on TikTok as Wilzer Foodz has developed the perfect recipe for those culinary emergencies: pan lasagna. In less than 30 minutes and with just a few ingredients you get a quick dinner which will amaze your taste buds! And the best part is that it’s a vegetarian recipe, something to please those around the table who don’t eat meat.

A very simple recipe ready in less than 30 minutes

Ah lasagna… This Italian specialty which has the gift of making everyone agree. Its stringy cheese, its slightly sweet tomato taste which reminds us of our last vacation in Italy or Sunday lunch at our grandparents’ house… It’s the very definition of comfort food that we would like to prepare whenever the heart tells us. The only problem with lasagna is that if you follow the original recipe, you would have to spend several hours behind the stove, which is difficult to do after a long day of work.

In order to satisfy the stomach of all gourmands, culinary influencer Wilzer Foodz has reinvented the original recipe to adapt it to a busy schedule. The cook therefore developed a very simple version vegetarian lasagna to make in a pan and ready in less than 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick dinner or when you don’t have an oven in his kitchen!

The list of ingredients for 1 person:

  • a little béchamel
  • 3-4 sheets of fresh lasagna dough
  • 4 button mushrooms
  • 1 jar of tomato sauce
  • 1 ball of mozzarella
  • a little grated Emmental (optional)

The steps of the recipe:

  1. Start by slicing the button mushrooms by cutting slices that are not too thick. This time the cook opted for a vegetarian version, but if you want to add meat, brown some minced meat with chopped onions and a little garlic in a separate pan.
  2. Get your sheets of fresh dough, your pan where you will cook the lasagna and a knife. Turn the pan over and place it on the pastry sheets. Using your knife, cut all around to obtain sheets of dough perfectly the size of your pan.
  3. It’s time to start editing. Start by placing a first sheet of dough in the pan, then pour 2 or 3 tablespoons of tomato sauce, incorporate a few slices of mushrooms, then a new disk of fresh dough. Finish with 2 tablespoons of béchamel. Repeat until your pan is almost completely full. Leave a little room for the final touch: the mozzarella. Cut it into slices and distribute them in the pan. The water from the cheese will cook the lasagna dough. For even more deliciousness, you can add a little grated cheese. Don’t forget to season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cover the pan and simmer for 25 minutes over low heat. And there you have it, it’s already ready!

How to prepare a béchamel sauce very simply?

If you really don’t have time, you can buy Bechamel ready for your lasagna recipe, but if like the cook you want to make it yourself, it’s even better! A homemade béchamel will add more taste and flavor to your dish. To prepare it for one person, you will need 0.25 l of milk, a small knob of butter of around 7 g, a teaspoon of flour, a little nutmeg, salt and pepper.

In a saucepan, melt the butter. When it has melted, add the flour and mix. You should obtain a paste that resembles puree. When this is the case, gradually pour in the cold milk, while mixing with a whisk. Season with salt, pepper and a little nutmeg. Cook for around 10 minutes over low heat, stirring regularly, until the béchamel is sufficiently thick.
