Panzani bets on French durum wheat

The world price of durum wheat, necessary for the preparation of pasta and semolina, is reaching peaks due, in particular, to the war raging between Russia and Ukraine, two countries which provide 30% of world wheat exports. . While the UN fears “a hurricane of famine” in poor countries, the shortage will spare Panzani, which, since 2019, has been sourcing exclusively French durum wheat.
