“Normally I’m not so naïve and would never fall for a son or nephew trick,” believes the Tyrolean, “but I’ve heard about this scam that fraudsters are now apparently using to take money out of many people’s pockets before Christmas “I haven’t heard of it yet,” says the Imster woman, who is sure that criminals have intercepted her package. “I had previously received an email that apparently came from customs because there was supposedly something wrong with my package. “The phone number given there was not correct and the message was definitely a fake,” the 58-year-old is now convinced.
