Paris airports are revising their forecasts for 2022

After an encouraging month of June, the manager of the major Parisian airports estimated on Monday that passenger traffic could reach between 72 and 82% of its 2019 level in 2022.

In the first half, Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle and Paris-Orly welcomed 37.5 million passengers for Paris Aroport, i.e. 71.6% of the traffic level for the same period in 2019, announced the ADP group.

Traffic at major airports in the Paris region once again increased significantly in June, continuing to approach pre-health crisis levels, with 8.1 million passengers handled, i.e. 82.1% of Paris Aroport’s traffic in the month of June 2019.

International traffic is 77% of the June 2019 level, despite still very low traffic to Asia-Pacific. Traffic to Europe is 87.1%, to France 80.3%, and to the DROM-COM 89%.

At the level of the ADP group, integrating the airports of New Delhi, Antalya, or Santiago de Chile, traffic reached 81.8% of June 2019 levels in June.

In the first half, the group welcomed 118.2 million passengers, or 71.9% of traffic in the first half of 2019.

ADP now forecasts a level of traffic for the year 2022 which should reach between 74 and 84% of the level of 2019, against 70 to 80% previously forecast.
