After two years of postponement due to the pandemic, the Grand Palais Ephemere will host the Festival du Livre de Paris, from April 22 to 24. Among the programming, many workshops are planned for children. Focus on three of them.
“Draw your carriage” workshop
On April 22, the author and illustrator of the albums “In case of attack” and “Soeurs et frères” Séverine Huguet will offer a workshop around her latest book: “Mon coach”. Children will be able to draw a carriage in their image, like the princess in the book.

They will be helped by a wheel of luck in order to equip themselves with “the craziest accessories: equipped with a surfboard, in all colors or even a flying carriage!”

Draw the world – invent worlds
The author and illustrator of comics Ileana Surducan offers a workshop for the creation of drawings and illustrations for children, from 8 years old, in free access. She has notably participated in the works “Les vHolidays from Nor»written by Maria Surducan, or “Adventurers of the Strange» and “In search of the lost Sunday»after Jakob and Wilhelm Grimm.

Storytelling with Zemanel
Storyteller and visual artist, Zemanel, author of “La Sieste de Moussa” or “The first Easter egg” will lead a workshop on April 23. He will take care of the animations and readings around the stories of the mythical Father Castor.
