Paris Jackson: The daughter of the King of Pop is looking for her voice in this documentary

Paris Jackson releases its first EP – and announces a multi-part documentary about their musical journey with their friend.

Paris Jackson (22) dares to step out of the shadow of her famous father and into the spotlight of the music world: Together with her friend Gabriel Glenn, she founded the Indiefolk duo The Soundflowers, whose first EP will be released on Wednesday. On their musical journey, the two were accompanied by cameras, as they now announced.

The result is the six-part documentary "Unfiltered: Paris Jackson & Gabriel Glenn", the first part of which will be available on Facebook free of charge from June 30th, all other episodes will be shown in one place every week. The films will not only shed light on Jackson's musical journey, but will also provide a deep insight into the relationship with her band partner.

A childhood in a flash of lightning

In a first trailer for the project, Jackson describes how difficult it was for her as a child to grow up involuntarily in a flash of lightning. Her current partner Glenn would understand the pain she had to go through all her life. "It feels like we're broken to the same extent," said Jackson. Glenn also helped her recognize what she was born for and encouraged her to find her voice.

Paris Jackson is the second child and the only daughter of Michael Jackson. When the King of Pop died in 2009, Paris was eleven years old.
