Parot Group: a good order book

(Boursier.com) — The turnover of Parot Group in the 1st half of 2022 amounted to 183.3 million euros (173.1 ME in H1 2021), this figure does not take into account in 2021 the activity of the PC concessions in Ile-de-France which was deconsolidated as of December 31, 2021 (sale of January 7, 2022). This turnover includes two acquisitions in repair and maintenance within the VC division: DAX Heavy Duty, historical IVECO repair agent of PAROT VI in Dax (40), and GMS Interventions, repair and maintenance company VI all brands in Fleury-Mérogis (91).

“While the economic and geopolitical context remains under tension, and despite generally declining markets, the performance of our sales teams remains remarkable. Our diversification in PCs, LCVs, VIs, but also used vehicles and SERVICES more than compensates for the production difficulties VN from which all manufacturers are suffering, which enabled us to post a +5.9% increase in our turnover over the half-year. Thus, even if the visibility on our new vehicle market remains reduced, the results achieved by elsewhere allow us to remain confident in our ability to pursue profitable growth, benefiting from a large order book and high-performance service activities”, comments Alexandre Parot, CEO of the Parot Group.

Outlook

“Following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the context of shortages has increased, particularly among our manufacturers established in Germany and Poland, whose degree of integration with the countries of Eastern Europe “Europe, and in particular Ukraine, is historically strong. The resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic in the Asian zone is amplifying the effects of the shortage,” the group said. “However, our manufacturers remain fully mobilized on the search for alternative solutions in order to minimize the impacts of the shortages, and even if to date the visibility remains low on the deliveries of 9 vehicles for the next few months, the expected volumes should be higher than those of the 1st semester.

In this context, Groupe Parot’s turnover benefits from the transfer of NV demand to UV demand, which is historically a strong point of our activities, for which, both in PC and in CV, the group has historical supply. Thus, with substantial VN order books, and solidly anchored in its UV and Services activities, the group remains confident about its level of activity for the coming months.
