Milk from New Zealand, chicken and eggs from Ukraine: here are three products imported by the European Union within the framework of free trade which revolt Manon Aubry. In the show Pascal Praud and you, the European MP La France insoumise criticized on Wednesday the importation of these products which creates “unfair” competition against French farmers, who are demanding better remuneration conditions. The LFI elected official took the example of arrivals of chickens and eggs from Ukraine “which have doubled, while the cost of production is 75% lower (compared to France). “We will oppose Ukraine’s entry into the European Union, otherwise it will make our farmers vulnerable,” she said.
