Special guest of the show Pascal Praud and you this Tuesday, shortly after the release of his new book The time of battles Fayard editions, the former President of the Republic looks back on his past experience at the top of the state, between 2007 and 2012. “I wanted to be a president incarnate”, says the former head of state, comparing his vision of the exercise of power with his two predecessors, François Mitterrand and Jacques Chirac. “I wanted to be a president who does not stop living. I think that when you are president of the Republic, you must remain a human being”, declared Nicolas Sarkozy on Europe 1.
