Revealed to the general public thanks to the cult show Pascal, the big brother, which aired on TF1 between 2006 and 2012, Pascal Soetens has been a little less present in the media in recent years. After having presented several programs on the antenna of NRJ12, the educator had relaunched the program that had made him known on C8 in 2017. Since then, Pascal Soetens has tried his hand at comedy, integrating the cast of the series The Mysteries of Love, broadcast on TMC. Within this fiction, he embodies the character Pascal Cordier, a director of a night establishment.
In real life, Pascal Soetens also runs an establishment. However, this is not a nightclub, but a gym. Unfortunately for him, he was hit hard by all the restrictions set up by the government, in the context of the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 epidemic. Guest of the new Jordan de Luxe show on Tuesday January 18, 2022, to promote his latest book, Pascal Soetens did not hide his anger against the health pass. “I lost members because of this pass. We are not free, we are dividing the French. And the people who demonstrate on Saturday, we hit them“, he lamented.
Pascal Soetens on the vaccine pass: “It’s the pass of shame”
Subsequently, the former face of TF1got carried away about the vaccination pass, which will replace the health pass from Monday, January 24, 2022. “The vaccine pass, that’s it, it’s voted. They’re going to piss us off with this and it’s not over. They will never give us back our freedom, that’s it, it’s over. It’s driving me crazy, I’m freaking out. It’s the pass of shame and the president wants to piss off the French. The President must not say that, a President cannot speak like that!“, he launched. Deeply annoyed to have been questioned by the facilitator on this subject, Pascal Soetens has decided to leave the set. “And then we’re going to stop there, it stuffs me. I didn’t come to talk about that, it annoys me. I’m going to give you a Jordan clash, I’m going to leave the set. I came to talk about a book. We will stop! Basta, that’s enough, it stuffed me“, he said before ending the interview.
