Passers-by discovered her – Ehrenhausen: Search for missing woman ended

In southern Styria they have been looking for a lost woman since Saturday evening. The 34-year-old from Romania walked away from her house in Ehrenhausen (Leibnitz district) and never returned. Police patrols, a police helicopter, police dogs and several fire brigades with drones were on duty, at 7:20 p.m. she was found in Leibnitz.

The 34-year-old had probably left the house in the Ehrenhausen district of Ewitsch on foot around 5.30 p.m. She suffers from psychological problems and can hardly speak German. Several police patrols, a police helicopter, search dogs and several fire brigades with drones were involved in the search on Sunday in the border area with Slovenia. Search dogs from the Red Cross, the Green Cross and the Samaritan Association also took part.

The action was canceled unsuccessfully at around 3:30 p.m. Inquiries from the Slovenian authorities and in several hospitals were unsuccessful.

It was only from the population that the decisive clue came: at 7:20 p.m., passers-by noticed the woman at the Leibnitz train station. The 34-year-old was weakened and was admitted to the LKH Wagna.
