Long-awaited sequel since its announcement, Path of Exile 2 offered new images. What to give a first glimpse of what awaits us, with many details. Planned for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, a beta has been announced for June 7, 2024.
Grinding Gear Games has not done too much with its new title. We take the basics that have conquered the players, and we expand everything to offer even more. ExileCon 2023 was an opportunity to showcase what’s in store for players at launch. That’s more than a hundred environments, 100 bosses, 600 monsters, 12 classes, 36 ancestries, 1,500 passive skills for 240 active ones, and 700 pieces of equipment. All of which can obviously be experienced in cooperation with up to 6 players. A proposal as crazy as it is attractive.
However, the arrival of Path of Exile 2 does not mean the end of the first, however. The two games will coexist, and there is no question of cheating those who have invested themselves. Any transaction made in one game may end up in the other. Everything will be pooled, accessible both in the first title and the second. This will allow you to continue enjoying both games without worries, and make PoE 2 another free-to-play.
