Path of Exile 2 beta delayed until end of year – Gamosaurus

Expected for June 7, the beta of Path of Exile 2
is finally postponed until the end of the year. This new news came during a very long show from Grinding Gear Games, which took the opportunity to explore the ranger’s gameplay. Even though the studio thinks it has enough content ready for summer, the technical side is still lagging behind. Instead, they preferred to postpone the launch, and will offer an alpha on this date.

More precisely, it is the gameplay that is targeted by the studio’s message. This does not seem to meet the expectations of the teams and they do not wish to offer this to the players. In order to better prepare the ground, the beta of Path of Exile 2 has been postponed indefinitely. No new date has been communicated, but Grinding Gear Games is aiming for the end of 2024. This will allow the experience to be refined, but above all to clearly mark the changes with the previous opus.

“Although we were able to prepare the game content in time, we underestimated the time needed to polish the gameplay to a level that we were comfortable with. We will continue to do an Alpha in June, but we will delay the Beta until later in the year. »

Jonathan Rogers, Game Director

Along with this bad news, the ranger class showed up. This relies, as one might expect, on its agility. She is able to shoot while moving, giving her a real advantage in certain situations. But she stands out above all for her rapid movements which allow her to keep the distance from her enemies.
