“Extremely hard weeks” lie behind her family

Barby Kelly died in mid-April. Sister Patricia Kelly has now commented on her death for the first time on Instagram.
On April 15th, Barby Kelly died at the age of 45 after a short illness. The Kelly Family gave it a few days later on Facebook known. Now Patricia Kelly (51) on Instagram reported to the fans of the family of musicians.
In a two-minute video, she explains alternately in German and English that she and her small family are doing well under the circumstances. “Of course those were extremely tough weeks. It’s still tough, still somehow surreal,” explains the singer and adds: “We miss Barby very much, we love her very much, for me Barby is sacred ground, something very special.”
Fans were “great support”
That’s why she doesn’t want to comment on her. “We’re doing our best to get on with life,” explains the 51-year-old. At the end she also thanks the fans for protecting the privacy of the family and for their sympathy: “A thousand thanks for the incredibly touching comments, for all the love you give Barby and us. That was one of the hard times for us great support. ”
Barby Kelly was only 45 years old. In contrast to most of her siblings, she lived a very withdrawn life and had already turned her back on the limelight around 20 years ago.
