“It breaks my heart”: Patricia Kelly has to cancel her “Unbreakable” tour due to health problems.

Patricia Kelly (54) has In a long Instagram post, she told her fans that she was currently unable to go on her “Unbreakable” tour. The currently planned concerts from March to May will therefore not take place. “An inflammation in the jaw area has been keeping me from singing for a few weeks,” the musician explains her cancellation.

She made many attempts, rehearsed, “I’m also able to sing one or two songs, but always with pain,” which is why it’s impossible “to do a whole concert, let alone a whole tour,” says the member the Kelly Family. Kelly says she had to make this difficult decision based on the doctors’ urgent advice. “Over the years I’ve learned one thing: health comes first.” Addressing her fans, she explains: “I am very sorry and it breaks my heart to have to disappoint you. I know how much and for how long you have been looking forward to the concerts and I also know that with every concert that is canceled , costs will arise for you.”

This is what Patricia Kelly is planning after the cancellation

The singer announces that she will use the next few months to “get healthy and do my therapies. I will continue to attend appointments outside of concerts.” She will probably play a few solo concerts or small solo tours with fewer concerts in the near future. Kelly also gives her fans hope for further appearances: “I will continue to do future tours, including big ones, with other artists, for example my siblings, because the singing there is distributed among several people. But at the moment there are no concrete plans, there are just thoughts that I have about it.”

The tour was previously postponed. “The difficult economic situation, the current situation for all of us, doesn’t allow it,” Kelly wrote on Instagram in February 2023. After the corona pandemic, ticket sales for her and many other artists “have not yet started again”. Because of this, “carrying out the tour responsibly” is not possible. “I hoped until the end that we would be able to go on tour and if it weren’t for this huge financial responsibility, I would have played in front of a small audience.” This year the singer wanted to try again.
