In an interview with Soir Mag, Patrick Bruel spoke about the next concert of the Enfoirés, expected on March 4 on TF1. A long-awaited event, which nevertheless inspires him with a lot of bitterness…
The bastards, Here we go again. Next Friday March 4 at 9:05 p.m., TF1 will broadcast the new show by the Enfoirés troupe, entitled 2022: An air of Enfoirés. This year again, several dozen French personalities will perform for the benefit of the Restos du Cœur. Joyce Jonathan, Thomas Pesquet, Kylian Mbappé and Jérémy Frérot will notably join the troupe for the first time, while pillars such as Jean-Louis Aubert, Julien Clerc, Patrick Fiori, Gérard Jugnot and Mimie Mathy will take over the microphone for an edition of more. This is also the case of Patrick Bruelwhich stacks up for the 30th consecutive year…
If the interpreter of Square of Great Men is delighted to return to the troupe of which he has been a member for nearly 30 years, it is with bitterness that he has returned to the stage this year. Indeed, as he confided in the columns of France Evening, the 62-year-old singer does not get used to the absence of Jean-Jacques Goldman, whose last participation in Les Enfoirés dates back to 2016. “He has installed the codes of the Enfoirés so much that it seems that he is still therehe confessed. The lack is not at the level of the show, the lack for me is that of my locker room buddy. I had the locker next to him and we exchanged between each table. It was interesting to see him work, to see him always put the right word, this rigor. We are very lucky to be close to him. It’s great to have crossed paths with someone like him, so yeah, everyone misses him..”
“It’s frustrating”
In addition to the absence of Jean-Jacques Goldman, Patrick Bruel regrets that of the public. For two years, the restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic have forced Les Enfoirés to perform in an empty room. A situation that the singer has more and more difficult to bear. “It’s frustrating for those who have already experienced these fabulous moments of communion with this one“, he confides, adding that the newcomers also suffer from it, in particular one of his young friends, Vianney. “It’s been two years since we said to him: ‘You’ll see, the public is just crazy’. Except that for the moment, he hasn’t seen anything yet.“Next year, perhaps? In the meantime, the 2022 concert of the Enfoirés will be broadcast on March 4 from 9:05 p.m. on TF1.
