Asked about this by the host, he revealed that his passage in Les Enfoirés, in 2013, had not gone as planned, in particular due to tensions and one violent argument with Jean Jacques Goldman, who was still the artistic director of the show at the time. One of the titles that Patrick Chesnais was to interpret had actually been the subject of a disagreement between them. “I said it was better to sing ‘Là-bas’ like that, and he insisted that I sing like that. I was sure of my shot and so was he!“ said the actor.
