fun, news, tips… what else?

Since his last appearance with the Enfoirés, in 2013, Patrick Chesnais has never participated in a single concert of the troupe. And for good reason, that year, he had a lively clash with Jean-Jacques Goldman.

The bastards will soon be back on our screens. This year, the famous charity concert organized Restos du cœur will be broadcast on Friday March 3 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1. Like every year, new artists should make their appearance on stage, such as the singers Mentissa, Sofia Essaïdi and Jane Birkin, but also the rugby player Antoine Dupont, the Formula 1 driver Esteban Ocon and the star dancer Germain Louvet. A decade ago is Patrick Chesnais who joined the Enfoirés troupe for the first time. Unfortunately, it did not last long since, by the following year he was no longer part of the cast.

Indeed, Thursday, February 9, the actor was the guest of Jordan De Luxe in his show At Jordan’s, broadcast on C8. Asked about this by the host, he revealed that his passage in Les Enfoirés, in 2013, had not gone as planned, in particular due to tensions and one violent argument with Jean Jacques Goldman, who was still the artistic director of the show at the time. One of the titles that Patrick Chesnais was to interpret had actually been the subject of a disagreement between them. “I said it was better to sing ‘Là-bas’ like that, and he insisted that I sing like that. I was sure of my shot and so was he! said the actor.

“We didn’t come to blows, but the year after, I didn’t do the thing anymore”

Patrick Chesnais then assured not to have let it go and to have stood up to the original singer of the song. “When I’m sure of something, I can be stubborn”he said. “It’s not very serious, we didn’t come to blows, but the year after, I didn’t do the thing anymore”, he also dropped. Jordan De Luxe then asked him if he thought he had been “fired” of the troupe because of this dispute with Jean-Jacques Goldman. “Oh, I don’t believe”tempered the actor. They invite people like that, I was a bit of a ‘guest star’. I was not born to make Les Enfoirés”he concluded with irony.
