Reports of sexual assault against Patrick Poivre d´Arvor are piling up. On February 19, the author Florence Porcel first claimed that Patrick Poivre d'Arvor had sexually abused her in 2004. The tongues were then released, and two first women emerged from the silence by pointing to the TV reporter from "sexual predator". Finally, the former star presenter of TF1 JT went to deny the charges against him on the set of Daily (TMC). Monday March 15, it's in the columns of The world that eight new testimonies were discovered. Among these, one of them testified under her real name: journalist Hélène Devynck, ex-companion of the writer Emmanuel Carrère.

She and the TV reporter worked together in the early 90s, when she was young and still can't explain the hold he had today: "It was unthinkable not to go to the pan, but just as impossible to say", she explains. She describes it as a"little blow quickly hurt":"I gritted my teeth, and stifled my tears. It was really humiliating. I had no choice, otherwise I was no longer working", she assures. Afterwards, she still walked away from the journalist. But yet, among the eight new testimonies, no woman has lodged a complaint : Cécile Ollivier, deputy head of the police justice department of BFMTV, explained why.

Most of the facts are prescribed

Tuesday March 16, 2021, Cécile Ollivier told about BFMTV that, among the eight testimonies, only two could fall under the law, the other facts being prescribed. These two women would have presented themselves of their own accord to the investigators, but no other complaint than that of Florence Porcel was finally registered by the courts.
