Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are celebrating a mini Beatles reunion. The two can be heard on Dolly Parton’s new album.

For her upcoming album “Rockstar” (available from November 17th), the country legend Dolly Parton (77) brought some big names from the music world on board. A few singles have already been released in advance. For example, a cover version of the Beatles song “Let It Be”, for which Parton hired none other than the last two Beatles still alive.

Paul McCartney (81) can be heard on the single on piano and vocals, Ringo Starr (83) sits on drums. The single was released on Friday (18 August) published on streaming platforms. The song is one of 30 from the album “Rockstar”, Parton’s first rock album. 21 of the songs on the album are covers of well-known rock songs, nine are new songs by the singer.

Lots of stars on Dolly Parton’s new album

Dolly Parton released the Queen cover “We Are the Champions/We Will Rock You” on July 21 and the new single “World on Fire” in May. In addition, Parton covered his song “Every Breath You Take” with Sting (71), her hit “Wrecking Ball” with Miley Cyrus (30) or his “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down on Me” with Elton John (76). .

Also to be heard on the album: A cover version of the Led Zeppelin classic “Stairway to Heaven” with Lizzo (35), a cover of Prince’ (1958-2016) “Purple Rain” and the Rolling Stones hit “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” – due to time constraints, however, without Mick Jagger (80), but with Pink (43) and Brandi Carlile (42).
