The stars who will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the coming year have been chosen. According to US media reports, the late actor Paul Walker (1973-2013) is among them. The “Fast & Furious” star died in a car accident in California on November 30, 2013 at the age of 40. At that time, the filming of “Fast & Furious 7” was in progress.
But Paul Walker isn’t the only celebrity to receive a star posthumously in 2023. Also the singer Jenni Rivera (1969-2012) and actress Juanita Moore (1914-2014) according to the US industry portal “Deadline” immortalized in Los Angeles.
Another “Fast & Furious” star is honored
Another star who will receive a star is Walker’s former “Fast & Furious” colleague Ludacris (44). Next year’s recipients will also include TV stars Jon Favreau (55), Mindy Kaling (42) and Ellen Pompeo (52) as well as musicians from the Jonas Brothers and Lenny Kravitz (58) or movie stars Vince Vaughn (52) , Uma Thurman (52) and Bill Pullman (68).
“Each year, the selection panel, which is made up of fellow Walk of Famers, selects a panel of honorees representing different genres of entertainment,” the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce executive, Deadline said in a statement. The panel carefully selected these talented individuals, “and we can’t wait to celebrate them as they become part of Hollywood history with the unveiling of their star on the world’s most famous sidewalk!”
This year, for example, actor James Hong (93) was happy about the award. He became the oldest person to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in May. Also in the spring, the band members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers celebrated their star.
