Olivier Marchal reveals “Pax Massilia” on Netflix
In the credits, subscribers to the platform will recognize actors whose faces will surely speak to the general public. Thus, we find in the main roles Tewfik Jallab (Lyès), Jeanne Goursaud (Alice), Nicolas Duvauchelle (Murillo), Lani Sogoyou (Audrey), Olivier Barthelemy (Arno), Idir Azougli (Tatoo), Florence Thomassin (curator Fabiani ) or even Samir Boitard (Ali).
On the script side, Kamel Guemra, Morade Aïssaoui, Edgar Marie and Sledge Bidounga and… Olivier Marchal are responsible for writing the six thrilling episodes which make up season 1 of Pax Massilia. The latter also takes care of the production alongside his sidekick Ivan Fegyveres.

AlloCiné had the opportunity to speak with the cast of this series, the fifth in which Olivier Marchal is involved after Central Nuit, Flics, Braquo and Section Zéro. He also spoke to our microphone to tell us behind the scenes of this ambitious project filmed entirely in Marseille.
With us, the fine team returned to the filming conditions there. The conductor and his orchestra actually went to the so-called “sensitive” neighborhoods of the city to put together numerous sequences… An experience deemed enriching by the cast. Olivier Marchal, finally, explained to us his entire creative process and why he likes to highlight the Marseille city so much.
