“Pax Massilia” has been a hit on Netflix since its release. But will Olivier Marchal’s new French detective series and its fans be rewarded with a season 2 after this great success?
In just a few days, the detective series Pax Massilia has become a phenomenon on Netflix around the world. In this fiction headed by Olivier Marchal, a group of cops using very muscular methods (but certainly not authorized!) track down a powerful dealer wanting to get their hands on Marseille… A recruit joins the brigade at the same time and it is not a question of ‘A random !
A season 2 for “Pax Massilia”?
The first season of this fiction is divided into six breathtaking episodes. But will the adventures of Lyès and his team be continued? Will Pax Massilia be entitled to a season 2 offered by the streaming platform?
For the moment, no official announcement about a possible season 2 for Pax Massilia has been made. However, the impressive number of views already recorded by Netflix in the four corners of the globe will probably encourage the platform to renew the series… In any case, one thing is certain: the casting (which recounts its training with the real cops of Marseille! ) and Olivier Marchal really want to do it again! Tewfik Jallab (who broke his ribs on the first day!) spoke to AlloCiné about this shoot with a particularly pleasant atmosphere, notably thanks to Olivier Marchal (whose actors all sing the praises): “It’s from an old era where we pay attention to the actors, to the atmosphere on set, because we must not forget that filming takes a long time.“
