  • Vodafone activates access to the pay-TV channels Kabel Eins Classics, ProSieben Fun and Sat.1 Emotions.
  • The offer runs from May.
  • The promotion is valid until the end of June.

Starting May 1, Vodafone customers can watch the three ProSiebenSat.1 channels Sat.1 Emotions, ProSieben Fun and Kabel Eins Classics for seven weeks without having booked a pay-TV package. The promotion ends on June 20th. Whoever got a taste for it then has to pay again for access to the special interest channels. But what is actually going on there?

Cable One Classics

As the name suggests, Kabel Eins Classics is dedicated to the classics of film history. According to their own statements, in May and June different theme days will include “21 Jump Street”, “22 Jump Street”, “Summer in Orange”, “The Jerico Project”, “No Half Things” and a Marlene Dietrich Special shown.

Sat.1 Emotions

The pay-TV channel, which is primarily aimed at women, has a surprisingly diverse program from true crime to event cinema, the “Late Show with Steven Colbert” to the obligatory RomComs. Film highlights such as “Finding Neverland – When dreams learn to fly”, series starts such as “Deadly Tropics” or the German premiere of the series “Love Child” fall during the campaign period.

ProSieben Fun

The ProSieben pay TV channel also has a US late night talker in its program with “The Late Show with James Cordon”. ProSieben also has fun comedy and action from “Family Guy” to “American Horror Story”. Incidentally, the current 47th season of “Saturday Night Live” is also one of the program highlights in May and June. The episodes are offset by a week and in the original English version.

How to take part in the Vodafone pay TV channel promotion

Vodafone states that access to the channels will be granted to all customers who use GigaTV, a Horizon Box (Vodafone West customers) or a smart card for television reception. One obviously wants to create an incentive to become a cable television customer with Vodafone.

Those of you who use GigaTV also get access to the respective broadcaster media libraries. During the promotion period, many of the titles listed there can be called up for up to 30 days instead of the regular availability of one week.
