PAYDAY 3 will use Denuvo – GAMERGEN.COM

Starbreeze Studios And Deep Silver will launch next month PAYDAY 3, their new cooperative heist game that will take us this time to New York. A title focused on multiplayer, although missions will be available in solo to warm up. Either way, the publisher fears pirates.

The studios just announced, via an update to the page Steam of the game, that PAYDAY 3 will use denuvo, the third-party anti-piracy software. A surprising decision, to say the least, because the title will already require an Internet connection, even to play solo, as well as a connection to Starbreeze Nebula, the developer’s platform. What normally ensure that players buy the title well and do not go through a version crackedbut obviously Deep Silver decided to checkout to include denuvo.

It remains to be seen whether the DRM will be kept for many years or quickly deleted, as is the case for certain titles. PAYDAY 3 release date is set for September 21, 2023, but before that, it will be entitled to a closed beta in the coming days. You can pre-order the game against €39.99 (-10% with the code TIME2PAY) on Gamesplanet.
