Two years after the broadcast of season 5, the BBC finally unveils the trailer for the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders. The footage promises an explosive end for the Shelby family.

The end is near for the Peaky Blinders. This is revealed in the long-awaited trailer for Season 6, which the BBC has unveiled for the New Year. After several enigmatic teasers, including one revealing the return of Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons, fans are finally entitled to an official trailer for these final episodes.

And these images promise an explosive finale for the Shelby family, which will be “in extreme danger” according to Steven Knight. The showrunner explains that “the stakes have never been higher” and think it will be “the best season of all”.

For this sixth and final season of the British series, in which Tommy Shelby will face his old demons while the Great Depression is in full swing and the fascists are gaining ground, we obviously find Cillian Murphy but also Paul Anderson, Sophie Rundle, Finn Cole, Anya Taylor-Joy, Brian Gleeson, Neil Maskell and Sam Claflin.

In addition, newbies join the cast of this final batch of episodes: Conrad Khan (The Hunter and the Ice Queen, Black Mirror), and Amber Anderson, seen recently in the film Emma. The trailer does not reveal the fate of Polly Gray, played by actress Helen McCrory, who died on April 16, 2021 from cancer.

If these images are attractive, they do not reveal the exact date of broadcast of season 6. Fans will be able to discover these final episodes at the beginning of the year 2022 on the BBC in the United Kingdom and on Netflix in France.
