A few days after Eric Zemmour, Valérie Pécresse in her turn went to Armenia, land of Eastern Christians. The opportunity for the presidential candidate to mark time on the polemicist and to highlight the credibility of her candidacy. And this by being illustrated in particular as a head of state.

Valérie Pécresse begins her second day in Armenia this Wednesday. The candidate LR in the presidential election continued on Tuesday meetings with the highest authorities of the country and multiplied the tributes. She wants to make her trip that of a Head of State and mark her difference from that of Eric Zemmour ten days ago.

The credibility of his candidacy

Only a few hours after having landed, and having hardly slept, Valérie Pécresse followed to the letter a very busy schedule: visit of the genocide memorial, the military cemetery, meeting with the President of the Republic of Armenia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs. So many honors to which Éric Zemmour was not entitled, and which according to Valérie Pécresse, illustrate the credibility of his candidacy.

“This is my third visit to Armenia and today I come as a friend of Armenia. This is perhaps also the reason why I am well received. And in order to be able to preside over France, you have to have built long-term and trusting relationships, ”she said.

Show solidarity with the Christians of the East

Tuesday was therefore an opportunity for her to mark once again her solidarity with the Christians of the East. She also exchanged an hour with the head of the Armenian Christian cult, to whom she promised her commitment to safeguarding the country’s cultural and spiritual heritage.

François Fillon’s fight for Eastern Christians therefore finds an echo five years later in the campaign of candidates on the right. And on this subject again, Valérie Pécresse does not intend to give in to Éric Zemmour.
