Event news Pégases 2024: the ceremony which rewards French video game productions can be followed this evening at 8 p.m.!
The fifth edition of the prestigious Pégases ceremony rewarding the best French (and not only) video game productions from last year is back! Who will succeed Stray, voted best game of the year 2022, you will find out this evening at 8 p.m. on the France TV Slash Twitch channel!
Live from La Cigale in Paris, the fifth edition of the Pégases ceremony will take place, which mainly celebrates French video game productions. Best Sound Universe, Narrative Excellence or even Best Game Design, a total of 20 categories are in the spotlight.
Last year, Best Game of the Year went to Stray ! That’s not all, since BlueTwelve Studio’s game was also awarded the Pégase for Best Independent Video Game and Best First Video Game! To note that A Plague Tale: Requiem came away with 4 prizes during the previous edition, notably the Audience Prize and the Pégase for Visual Excellence.
Which game will mark the evening and which will succeed Stray?
Almost a hundred games were submitted this year in different categories. In the end, only around twenty titles were selected. In the prestigious Best Game award we find Songs of Sennaardeveloped by Rundisc, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage from Ubisoft and finally Ebbing by Don’t Nod. One of these three productions will succeed Stray by becoming the best Frenchman of the year 2023.
For this fifth edition, a new prize will be awarded: the “International Pegasus of Honor”. The latter will be awarded to a notable personality in the video game industry.
