Thanks to an outstanding Baris Atik, 1. FC Magdeburg clinched their first win of the season. Coach Christian Titz’s team deservedly defeated Eintracht Braunschweig 2-1 (2-0) and moved up to the top third of the table with four points. For Eintracht, on the other hand, the false start is perfect, in the first two games there were neither points nor goals. Luca Schuler (22nd) and Amara Conde (32nd) set the course before the break in front of 28,350 fans, each based on a template from Atik. Anthony Ujah (90+4) scored the connecting goal.
