The cancellation of a meeting between the unions and the left-wing parties demonstrates, once again, that relations between the two formations are complicated.

MWednesday, February 15, at 3 p.m., the National Assembly begins the afternoon session devoted to pension reform. The hemicycle is well stocked; the deputies are ready to scrap. But the first speech has only a rather distant link with the heart of the matter. It deals with a meeting scheduled, then aborted, between the parties of Nupes and the inter-union opposed to the reform.
