At the People’s Choice Awards, which took place on Sunday in Santa Monica, California, Heidi Klum (50) made it back into the best-dressed list. She appeared on the red carpet in a black mini dress with a dramatic black and white train.

Her look showed her great sense of trends with two details: the trendy XXL pearl necklace and the large black bow that adorned her backside. The “Germany’s Next Top Model” boss combined black pumps.

“Barbie” is the big winner of the evening

One of the big winners of the evening was Greta Gerwig’s (40) film “Barbie” (2023), which was named both film of the year and comedy of the year.

The film’s main actors, Margot Robbie (33) and Ryan Gosling (43), were named male and female film star of the year respectively. America Ferrera (39), also part of the successful film, was awarded the best acting performance of the year.

Simu Liu (34), who was nominated for his role as one of the Kens in “Barbie”, hosted this year’s People’s Choice Awards.

“Barbie” topped the list of nominated films with nine nominations, followed by Oppenheimer with six nominations. In the TV categories, “Only Murders in the Building” (since 2021) led with seven nominations, followed by “Ted Lasso” (since 2020), “The Morning Show” (since 2019) and “The Last of Us” (since 2023) with six nominations each.

“Grey’s Anatomy” (2005-present) won series of the year, Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” won best comedy series and “The Last of Us” won drama series.

In the music categories, Taylor Swift (34), Luke Combs (33), Nicki Minaj (41) and Morgan Wallen (30) each received five awards, with Swift also winning for her concert film “The Eras Tour” (2023). was nominated for film of the year.

Adam Sandler (57) received the People’s Icon Award at the show.
