Olympus is slowly opening its gates and soon we will be able to marvel at the sacred halls in the Disney+ series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”. Now we finally know when our trip to the realm of the gods will be, because the streaming service has published a first teaser in which they also announced the start date.
Just in time for Christmas, we can lounge on the couch with the family and from then on December 20, 2023 experience the adventures of Percy and his friends Annabeth and Grover.
“Percy Jackson and the Olympians” tells the story of 12-year-old Perseus “Percy” Jackson, who, after being attacked by beasts from Greek mythology, learns that he is the son of a god.
The young demigod now has to learn to control his powers and, incidentally, has to confront the powerful god Zeus, whom he is said to have stolen from.
The Disney+ series is based on the successful children’s book series “Percy Jackson” by US author Rick Riordan from 2005.
