(Boursier.com) — Pernod Ricard and JCDecaux, two French companies of international stature, announce an innovative digital partnership in data management with the deployment of the Data Portal. This solution allows a company to centralize in a single point all the data coming from different entities in the world, thus facilitating their use and sharing. The Data Portal serves the transformation objectives of the two Groups, which have placed data at the heart of their activity and their growth strategy.

The tool has been developed since 2015 by the IT team of the Pernod Ricard Data Center of Excellence, already made up of 20 people and constantly expanding. The Data Portal, which is particularly ergonomic and intuitive, is a real digital transformation accelerator. Nearly 7,000 Pernod Ricard employees find daily information on sales or key data for the deployment of their commercial strategies. After discussions started in 2020 with JCDecaux, the two Groups have opted for an alliance between non-competing partners, in order to enrich the Data Portal with their respective experiences, by co-developing technical ecosystems and taking advantage of cost synergies. generated by pooling their skills. This technology, the use of which does not give rise to any exchange of data between the two companies, is transferred free of charge by Pernod Ricard, without conditions or limitations of use.

Each entity thus manages its data in accordance with the associated regulatory framework.

In a process of continuous improvement, the collaborative and agile alliance between Pernod Ricard and JCDecaux will accelerate the development of new functionalities and technologies around data. It may subsequently open up to other non-competing companies, within the same legal framework and the same co-construction model.

Project monitoring will be provided by Neoxia, a true trusted third party which will continue to ensure the integration of developments into the platform to ensure its technical consistency according to the roadmap defined jointly by Pernod Ricard and JCDecaux.
