Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier received his first corona vaccination on Friday.
Federal Minister of Economics Peter Altmaier (62) has received his first corona vaccination. On Friday (April 9), his ministry posted a photo of the CDU politician on Twitterwhere the AstraZeneca vaccine is injected into his upper arm.
“Today, Peter Altmaier regularly received his first corona vaccination with AstraZeneca in the Julius-Leber-Kaserne”, can be read next to the photo of the Saarland native. Altmaier calls on “all citizens to participate: ‘Vaccination is the decisive step to overcome the pandemic.'”

The federal politician himself also shared the snapshot on Twitter. “I was vaccinated with AstraZeneca today a few weeks before my 62nd birthday,” he wrote. “A very big thank you” goes “to the many doctors and soldiers in the Bundeswehr who are doing a great job fighting the pandemic!”
