(CercleFinance.com) – Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, has been diagnosed with Covid-19, the American biopharmaceutical group announced on Monday.
The business executive, who says he received four doses of the vaccine developed by Pfizer and BioNTech, says he is “well” and only feels moderate symptoms of the disease.
He specifies that he has started treatment with Paxlovid, the oral drug designed by the laboratory.
“We have come such a long way in the last few years to fight this disease that I am confident that I will recover quickly,” he added in a press release.
Bourla says he has self-isolated and is following all public health precautions.
