Available in early access since June 22, 2021, Phantom Abyss will finally see the light of day in version 1.0 on January 25 on PC and Xbox Series. A launch which will of course be synonymous with updating with new content.
The principle of Phantom Abyss remains the same, in a gigantic asynchronous multiplayer game, players will find themselves propelled into procedurally generated temples. And if these temples are full of treasures and other wonders, they are above all filled with mortal dangers.
Between the traps to avoid, the chasms to cross or even the guardians who pursue you relentlessly, getting your hands on the hidden riches is no easy task. Especially since you risk getting lost if you don’t pay attention to the labyrinthine corridors that make up certain temples. But it is possible to use other players’ mistakes to your advantage. By using their ghost, you can learn from their failures and not succumb to the same missteps.
Version 1.0 will mark the arrival of a revisited Adventure mode which will offer a series of temples to cross with an imposed selection of whips, relics and additional challenges. This new mode will allow players to unlock cosmetics, particularly for their whip.
