Released in 2020 on PC, in early access, Phasmophobia will be ported to new platforms. Kinetic Game had announced PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PSVR 2 versions during the Xbox Games Showcase Extended 2023but the studio encountered some problems this summer, including a fire in its premises, forcing it to postpone the release of the game to the end of October.
The deadline is coming to an end soon, and unfortunately, Phasmophobia is pushed back again on PS5, PSVR 2 and Xbox Series X|S. In a statement, Kinetic Games explains that he encountered unforeseen difficulties, including the fire, and carrying on PlayStation VR 2 asks him to optimize the performance and maps of the gameand even rework the map Maple Lodge Campsite. A huge amount of work which will therefore prevent him from launching Phasmophobia for Halloween…
