Philippe Chevallier is not the only one complain about his retirement. Many celebrities have revealed the amount of their pensions on the set of Jordan Deluxe. It is now Philippe Chevallier’s turn to reveal his retirement. The comedian who has long collaborated with Régis Laspalès looks back on the impressive stamp he received for an advertisement. “When we advertised for Matmut, I had received 250,000 euros but I had scruples about talking about that because Laspalès didn’t want to talk about that. We made a lot of money and we paid a lot of taxes.” he confides.

Since Philippe Chevallier retired, his lifestyle has dropped considerably. “As our shows stopped four years ago, we had to cut back because we must not forget that our taxes…”, says the comedian. He pursues : “It’s indecent to say that but when you earn 10,000 euros today in France, you only have 5,000 euros left. There’s only half of it left.”

During his interview with Jordan De Luxe, Philippe Chevallier jokes about his wife Stéphanie who “costs a little bit expensive”. And for good reason, his wife may not like jewelry, but she still appreciates clothes and dining out. The presenter therefore insists on knowing the amount of his retirement. And Philippe Chevallier ends up admitting: “Per month, I don’t get anything but I have a pension that I’ve been getting since April 1. I touch in the 2,500-3,000 euros. As a reminder, the DRESS estimates the average pension in France at 1400 euros net per month.
