Philips Hue: new outdoor lights and additional effects in the app

The Philips Hue connected lighting range is enriched with an outdoor wall light, but also with a new version of the Calla terminal. The mobile application should also welcome new light effects.

If the beautiful days still seem far away, Philips is already preparing for their arrival by announcing four new Hue products to make outdoor spaces more welcoming and warm. Since the Lucca and Resonate connected luminaires are already on sale in France, we will especially retain the Inara Filament wall lamp, to which is added a stainless steel version of the Calla terminal launched in 2018.

From retro to more contemporary

The Inara wall lamp adopts a retro style with a metallic structure inspired by lanterns. Its transparent windows reveal the filament bulb that gives it its name. It diffuses a warm white light with variable intensity, thus creating a warm atmosphere to welcome guests or relax with friends during the beautiful summer nights.

With a height of 25 cm, the Calla bollard, already available in black, benefits from LED lighting capable of producing white or colored light to embellish paths and gardens. This new version retains the low voltage power system for risk-free installation, but features a new stainless steel finish. It will be marketed from February 8 at the recommended retail price of €139.99, against €99.99 for the Inara wall lamp, expected on the same date.

New effects to warm the interior while waiting for summer

Philips is also taking advantage of the launch of its outdoor lights to unveil some new features to come on the accompanying mobile application. Thus, new light effects should appear during the first quarter of 2022. Candle and Fireplace will be the first to join the Philips Hue app; as a result, candle lighting for the first and a chimney fire for the second.
