(CercleFinance.com) – The European Commission has authorized, under the EC Merger Regulation, the acquisition of joint control of Phoenix Energy Holdings and its United Kingdom subsidiaries by CK Infrastructure Holdings (CKI) of Bermuda and CK Cayman Islands Asset Holdings (CKA).
The operation mainly concerns the gas distribution sector.
The Commission concluded that the transaction would not raise competition concerns, given its limited impact on the European Economic Area.
