PHOTO – Charlene and Albert of Monaco unveil their Christmas card: Jacques and Gabriella in the spotlight!

Christmas is just around the corner. Friday December 15, and like every year, the princely family of Monaco posed for their famous Christmas photo, before publishing it on their Instagram account. And in the central place, we find Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. In a golden holiday setting, the 9-year-old twins sit on a bench next to their mother, Princess Charlene. The little boy, heir to the throne, rests his head against the swimmer, dressed in a black tuxedo, a white shirt and a pine-colored bow tie. To complete his wardrobe, he wears a pair of black patent moccasins. To her left, her sister wears a burgundy velvet dress, decorated with puffed sleeves. Wearing matching ballerinas, the young girl crosses her legs and offers an angelic smile to the lens of photographer Éric Mathon.

The South African athlete, for her part, slipped into a long dress, also in velvet, available in a golden shade, while the draped collar reveals one shoulder. For his part, Prince Albert of Monaco is the only member of the family standing. He gives a radiant smile – which reveals his teeth – and wears a tuxedo matching that of his son. The only difference being the color of his bow tie. The latter has a cherry color.

As the publication indicates, the Monegasques are in the princely palace of Monaco. In the background, there are many branches painted gold, and a snowy Christmas tree. In the caption, it is simply written: “The Prince’s Palace invites you to discover the Christmas photo of the princely family.”

Just like the princely family of Monaco, the European Crowns took part in the exercise of end-of-year photography. Starting with the Prince and Princess of Wales, who revealed theirs on December 8 on their Instagram account. In a photography studio Josh ShinnerPrince William, Princess Catherine and their three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, display a broad smile in front of the photographer.

However, this cliché was not unanimous. And for good reason, many Internet users have criticized the future king and his wife… that the image is “too retouched”. Indeed, aficionados of British royalty, very attentive to the smallest detail, considered that the image contained several inconsistencies. In particular, it would be missing a finger to the younger princeand even a leg for the Princess of Wales! Proof that the magic of Christmas does not provide peace of mind to anyone.
