The one who became a dad last October declared his love to his wifeAlizée Thévenet, on her Instagram account Wednesday February 14.
Under a photograph captured several months earlier, in which we see the Frenchwoman – whom he married in September 2021 in Bormes-les-Mimosas – hugging her dog Ella, Kate Middleton’s brother wrote: “I was lost and Ella found Alizée.” And to continue about his wife and his dog who has been an unwavering support for years: “Together, they saved me. This image is all the more touching as the Briton’s cocker spaniel died in January 2023, after having helped him for fifteen years to overcome depression problems. To express his pain at the loss of his faithful companion, James Middleton spoke in the columns of Times on January 29 of the same year. Incidentally, the father revealed that Ella had been at the origin of his meeting with the woman who became his wife and the mother of his son. “I met Alizée thanks to Ella, after she went straight towards her in a restaurant. I then wrote a little note, which Alizée kept. I signed it on behalf of Ella“, remembered the brother of the Princess of Wales. And to develop: “I wrote something like, ‘Would you like to go out with me for a drink? And I’ll bring my friend James with me.'”
Devastated, he particularly spoke of the infinite sadness that owners experience when they lose their traveling companion. “Whether we own a dog or not, we all know that moment in our lives, during which we find ourselves faced with the difficulty of making sense of death, and no one can prepare you for this emptiness“, he said in his column published by the newspaper.
