A tender memory. Charles Spencer has a habit of sharing childhood memories on Instagram. He continues to bring his sister to life through photos. Regularly, his 214,000 subscribers discover photos of his big sister Diana and him on a swing, posing next to each other, or of Diana leaving her baptism. This Monday, March 25, the 9th Earl Spencer posted a special memory. On the occasion of the release of his memoirs, A Very Private Schoolhe found the name plates that were hanging on the doors of the Spencer children’s bedrooms.
Charles Spencer experienced “happy years” at Park House, the Spencer family home. He grew up there until he was 11. In this house, their father Edward Spencer had placed a plaque on the bedroom door of each of the four children. We discover that of the future Princess Diana, decorated with pink flowers, and that of her little brother, Charles, decorated with blue flowers. The man who will soon celebrate his 60th birthday explained that he must now find the last two plaques: those of his two older sisters, Sarah and Jane.

Lady Diana’s brother reveals a never-before-seen photo of their childhood
A few days ago, Lady Diana’s brother shared a tender photograph on his Instagram account. In the black and white photo, her subscribers were able to discover young Diana in shorts, a light t-shirt and flip-flops. The little girl with blond hair smiles at the camera. She is standing next to her little brother who is sitting on a swing. Behind them, we find their mother who is also smiling. According to Charles Spencer, the photo dates from 1967. He was 3 years old and Diana was 5 or 6 years old. “I love how happy each of us looks”, the politician wrote with nostalgia. In the caption accompanying the photograph, he explained that his mother nicknamed him “Buzz” because'”She [le] seen as having the inexhaustible energy of a rather happy and busy bee”, he remembered.
