Emma Vanpoulle, to serve you! Particularly bad at mathematics and physical sciences at school, my professional path naturally led me towards the path of writing. With a BAC L in my pocket, I decided to put my skills at the service of journalism and, being a great investigator of stars, I quickly moved towards the people. And more particularly towards TV personalities. With me, discover all the secrets of the small screen!

This February 25, 2024, Michel Drucker will present a somewhat special number of “Vivement Dimanche” on France 3. The host decided to speak one-on-one with Sylvie Vartan, who will soon begin an event tour intended to say goodbye to his audience.

Like every Sunday, viewers will be able to find Michel Drucker on the air on France 3 at the very beginning of the afternoon, just after the 1 p.m. news, in his show Looking forward to Sunday. The host will do things a little differently this week since he will not receive several personalities but only one. And not least!

Indeed, Michel Drucker decided to devote his entire show to Sylvie Vartan, a true legend of French song who has more to present. But precisely, at 79 years old, the ex-wife of Johnny Hallyday decided to put an end to her 60-year-long career. This is what she herself confided on Instagram on January 23, announcing in passing a farewell tour entitled I bow out. “It is with great love and emotion that I will meet you at the Dôme de Paris for my farewell tour“, she wrote on her account. It is in this emblematic hall of the capital that she chose to perform for the last time, for a few dates. A way to end in style her beautiful and impressive course.

Sylvie Vartan with a heavy heart at the idea of saying goodbye to her audience

On the last night, I will surely be heartbroken. We have to go through that. Once again, I don’t want the public to see me decaying, it’s also a question of respect for them. Then I am very demanding of myself“, she justified to Paris Match. A choice that was difficult to make: “For several years, I had been procrastinating. I have always done everything with passion, without calculation, just out of desire and without asking myself too many questions. Because deep down I don’t like at all what ends, I don’t like departures, I don’t like what stops.

During this interview, David Hallyday’s mother specified that she would not refrain from “redo a disk” one day. But for now, she aspires to a calmer pace and the simplest pleasures: “I have so much in my private life to catch up on: all these books I haven’t read, these films I haven’t seen… I will also be able to take care of my grandchildren, and even from my great-grandson“. Sylvie Vartan’s last tour will take place on November 8, 9 and 10 at the Dôme de Paris.

Looking forward to Sunday this February 25, 2024 from 1:40 p.m. on France 3.
