Albert and Charlene from Monaco went to one of the most famous ski resorts in France: Courchevel. If we haven’t seen them skiing – maybe a low-key getaway? -, they attended a charity gala for the benefit of the princess’s foundation and that of the children of the Courchevel sports club. The couple looked as radiant as they were elegant.

Who says February says mountains and skiing! Albert of Monaco and his wife Princess Charlene were noticed in Courchevel. Although they may not have been able to resist slipping on the snow, they nevertheless made the trip to the Alps for a very specific purpose: to attend the second edition of the charity gala which was held on the 24th. February in the famous resort. They posed elegantly alongside Sir James Arthur Ratcliffe who presided over the evening with the Monegasque prince. More than 200 guests, including Prince Alexander of Liechtenstein and his wife Princess Astrid of Liechtenstein, responded to the invitation of the president of the Courchevel Ski Club, Mr. Marc Sénéchal.

On this occasion, Charlene of Monaco opted for a long and sparkling outfit. A black – a color that suits her well – and glittery ensemble which appears to be a jumpsuit on which she has superimposed a short jacket in the same fabric. With her minaudière in her hands and her pumps whose silver tips can be seen, the mother of Jacques and Gabriella had everything to make a splash with her chic style, she who has been increasing her commitments since 2023. Albert II chose a blazer navy blue on which is the Courchevel ski club crest.

Many personalities from the cultural, sporting and economic world gathered in the Crystal Globe Room. The auction was moderated by Olivier Valmier, auctioneer at Sotheby’s, accompanied by the internationally renowned French artist Richard Orlinski. The dinner saw numerous lots (works of art, exceptional wines, culinary and tourist experiences, sports accessories autographed by renowned athletes) auctioned in favor of these two initiatives. As a prelude to the dinner, an exceptional recital was offered to the guests, bringing together Stella Almondo (piano), Léo Couralet (violin) and Gabriel Guignier (cello).

The organizers thanked all the participants of this second edition for their generosity and their presence in this friendly moment placed under the sign of solidarity and focused on youth. Indeed, this charity gala was organized for the benefit of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation which saves lives by fighting against drowning and develops the education of children through the values ​​of sport, as well as the children’s association of the club of Courchevel sports.
