Addicted to series about vampires and zombies, he knows everything about your favorite stars, with a slight preference for what happens across the Atlantic. Although he has the hot blood of the Spanish, he still maintains his very French humor and never shrinks from a well-intentioned play on words.

Newcomer to the French XV, Emmanuel Meafou will honor his second selection against England on March 16. On the private side, the rugby player has just become the father of a little boy of whom he has shared adorable photos.

He is part of the new generation pushing towards the door of the XV of France and Fabien Galthié has decided to give him a chance. Born in New Zealand before growing up in Australia, Emmanuel Meafou arrived in France in 2019. An adopted country for which he decided to play, after obtaining his nationality last November. Too tight to participate in the Rugby World Cup, he honored his first selection with the Blues last week, during the Six Nations Tournament match against Wales. A very convincing performance since the coach decided to start him again during the summit clash against England, this Saturday March 16, at Groupama Stadium in Lyon.

The period is particularly good for the 25-year-old new international, who also has a string of victories with Stade Toulouse and seems perfectly settled in France. It must be said that off the field, Emmanuel Meafou became a father for the first time only a few weeks ago. It was through his Instagram account that he revealed the good news to his thousands of subscribers on January 4, talking about “little Christmas present” to announce the birth of his son, Marcellus Kenese Meafou, on December 25, 2023.

Since then, the strong guy over 2 meters tall, who plays in the second row, has become a real father hen and he did not hesitate to share new photos of his “chick” to celebrate its 2 months. Photos which melted the rugby player’s subscribers, like Lisa Lopez, Romain Ntamack’s partner, who is also expecting their first child.

The Blues want to end on a good note

The good news continues for Emmanuel Meafou, who recently became a father and who has just joined the French XV and does not seem ready to leave. During the “crunch” against the English this Saturday, the colossus intends to impose its strength and allow the Blues to finish this Six Nations tournament with dignity. In the absence of Antoine Dupont, teammates Thomas Ramos and Damian Penaud are struggling a lot, but a convincing victory against England would allow them to finish on a good note.
