At the time, the suspense series was a small revolution in the audiovisual landscape. For eight seasons and no less than 192 episodes, we followed the captivating investigations of agent Jack Bauer who acted for the CTU anti-terrorism cell. Each season was thus broken down into twenty-four episodes, each representing an hour and not a minute more. Many actors, some of whom were still at the start of their careers, joined the show’s great cast and have since become leading actors.

For fans of the first hour, the famous series had the right to two surprise returns, the first in 2014 with a ninth season of 12 episodes, then in 2017 with a spin-off titled 24 Hours: Legacy, with new actors and whose plot took place three years after the last season of the original version.
If some cast members like Kiefer Sutherland or Elisha Cuthbert managed to break the image they had in the series and made a career in the cinema, others made a name for themselves on the small screen like Kim Raver who plays the role of Dr. Teddy Altman in the series Grey’s Anatomy since 2009. 24 Hours stopwatchavailable today on the Disney+ platform, will undoubtedly remain one of the cult series of the beginning of the century.
