The kitten Midas was born with four ears due to a rare genetic mutation. According to the vet, however, the little cat is very healthy. The additional pair of ears is connected to the ear canal in a completely normal way and does not cause any problems. Midas’ mistress found the extraordinary kitten in Ankara (Turkey) in a backyard and took it home without further ado. She feared that otherwise the little cat would have little chance of survival. Midas is now four months old and has her own Instagram account. Under the name of @ midas_x24 more than 97,000 people pursue the genetic miracle. Midas’ owner wants to use Instagram to draw attention to the fact that many animals are looking for a loving home and encourage them to adopt pets instead of buying them in the store.
