Irish actor Pierce Brosnan commemorates his late daughter Charlotte on Instagram – seven years after her death.
With a touching Instagram post, Pierce Brosnan (67) commemorates his late daughter. For a picture in which Brosnan smiles visibly relaxed into the camera, the former "James Bond" actor wrote, among other things, a toast saying, which roughly means "I drink for your well-being, little one" in German. The saying is among other things "in memory of Charlotte". He is referring to his adopted daughter Charlotte (1971-2013), who died on June 28, 2013 of the consequences of ovarian cancer.
Charlotte's mother, Cassandra Harris (1948-1991), had also previously died of ovarian cancer. Brosnan was married to Harris until her death in 1991, the actor had adopted his first wife's daughter – and also her son Christopher.
At the same time a birthday greeting
At the same time, Brosnan also congratulated the post with his granddaughter Marley May, who is celebrating her fifth birthday. Marley May is the daughter of his son Sean Brosnan (36) – who comes from Brosnan's marriage to Harris – and the producer and actress Sanja Banic. Because there are also "birthday wishes for my sweetheart Marley May", as Brosnan writes.
