After winning the eleventh season of Star Academy and since leaving the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys, Pierre Garnier has been caught in a media whirlwind. Fortunately, the young talent can count on the support of academics, and more particularly of this student with whom he is very close.
On Saturday February 3, 2024, Pierre Garnier’s life changed by winning the grand final of the Star Academy 2023. The interpreter of Those we were won against Julien during the prime broadcast on TF1 and is now facing notoriety after spending three months within the walls of the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys. At the time of writing these few lines, Pierre Garnier has more than 1.1 million subscribers on his Instagram account, a record for a participant in the Star Academy. “It’s weird, especially since I haven’t been on the networks for three months! I’m going to have to think about this fame, how to manage all of this and not share anything! (Laughs)”he recently told TV Star. In the background, the singer evokes the question of private life. “It hasn’t reached me yet. I find it normal, this curiosity from the fans! Afterwards, it’s up to me to know what I want to share and what I want to keep for myself. In life, I am a fairly modest person who doesn’t talk a lot about feelings. I prefer to talk about it in my songs”, he continues.

Pierre Garnier is, however, not (completely) left to his own devices. The winner of the Star Academy 2023 can count on the support of his loved ones but also of other academicians with whom he has established strong ties. This is particularly the case for this student with whom he traveled a long way and became friends. The most die-hard fans of the program will undoubtedly have understood that it is about Julien. “We are all very close.
